Benjamin Andrew is an artist and writer based in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013, and currently teaches part-time at MICA as well as working at the Johns Hopkins University’s Digital Media Center. Regularly engaging with site-specific history and scientific research, he has recently developed interactive projects at Arlington Art Center, Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, and Baltimore’s Station North Arts & Entertainment District. Visit Benjamin Andrew's website.

Benjamin Andrew: Foggy Bottom Microobservatory, 2016 Location: 915 26th Street NW Inspired by the breweries and Naval Observatory once based in Foggy Bottom, the Microobservatory is a multimedia hub aimed at understanding the area’s invisible ecosystem. The project depicts actual fermentation experiments from the viewpoint of imaginary microscopic researchers, seen at microobservatory.com.
