Building Blocks

Nicole Herbert: Building Blocks, 2016 Location: 2532 I Street NW This work builds from Foggy Bottom’s architectural history and the constructed components at the roof of this site. Elevating what might be overlooked, the arrangement offers a meditation on patterning unique to the area with objects built in brick and cast in concrete and plaster.
